  • Scholarship means: Fee concession, Fee discount, Fee waiver
  • Scholarship will be applicable on Tuition Fee only.
  • Only in case of KTSE, if student has secured 100% scholarship then no fee is to be charged.
  • In category 'C' (i, ii, iii) only one scholarship can be availed whichever is maximum.
  • The scholarship of category A, B, C can be clubbed.
  • If at any point of time Govt. decided to charge any kind of tax on scholarship/ fee concession / fee discount/ fee waiver and on prize money / reward money, then the tax implemented by govt. shall be borne by the student.
  • Sum of Scholarship(s) will not exceed 100% of the tuition fee in any case.
  • A student can appear only 2 times in KELVIN Scholarship Test (KST). Scholarship obtained in 2nd KELVIN Scholarship Test (KST) will degrade scholarship by one slab down (Medical, Engineering) / 5% (for Foundations).
  • If Board/ Olympiads result is awaited, then student can take admission on the basis of KELVIN Scholarship Test (KST). In case if student got more scholarship according to Board / Olympiad result then he/she may apply for more scholarship with an application attached mark sheet (photocopy) of that Exam which is relevant for the extra scholarship, KELVIN will generate new scholarship chart and hand over to you and this extra scholarship will be adjusted in last installment(s) of the fee, if any.
  • For scholarship based on category C (ii) printout of result is to be submitted at the time of admission.
  • Scholarship offered on Tuition Fee only.
  • All PDCs to be submitted at the time of admission.

Scholarship & Reward Policy

  1. Scholarship mentioned for all programs provided by KELVIN Institute can be changed at any time without giving any prior information or notice.
  2. Rewards/ Prizes mentioned for all programs provided by KELVIN Institute can be changed at any time without giving any prior information or notice.
  3. NTSE: The total Reward amount as mentioned in Prospectus or any other document of KELVIN with respect to the All India Rank (AIR) in NTSE will be paid in 4 equal installments during the study in Class XI/ XII at KELVIN Institute. In case, marks are awarded instead of Ranks, then KELVIN Institute will consider the Marks to decide Ranks (please refer to foundation scholarship pages for more details). The first installment of the Reward will be disbursed within a few weeks of NTSE Result. Maintaining 90% attendance in classes is mandatory for disbursal of every installment of the Reward.
  4. KVPY: The total Reward amount as mentioned in Prospectus or any other document of KELVIN with respect to the All India Rank (AIR) in KVPY will be paid in 4 equal installments with the gap of every 6 months. The first installment of the Reward will be disbursed within a few weeks of KVPY results. Maintaining the 90% attendance in the class is mandatory for disbursal of every installment of the reward.
  5. If a Student, during his/her study at KELVIN Institute, qualifies any Scholastic Exam for which KELVIN Institute offers Rewards and then opts for the exit option and discontinues his/her current KELVIN Institute Program after class X, XI & XII and enrolls again in new KELVIN Institute Program, then he/she will not get any fee waiver/ scholarship based on that scholastic achievement. However, he/she will continue to get Rewards in case of rejoining, if he/she stays eligible as per the Terms & Conditions of Rewards.
  6. The KELVIN Institute shall give the prize to the students of under Classroom Program who Qualifies/ Rank holder (Mentioned in prospectus) in NTSE (Stage II), KVPY, Olympiads, IIT-JEE (Main & Advanced), NEET etc.
  7. One Student shall be given one prize only. The student must be only of KELVIN Institute and not claimed by any other Institute.
  8. Rewards mentioned in the Prospectus are applicable only to the students who are taking admission in any of the Long-Term Classroom Program of KELVIN Institute in Academic year 2019.
  9. Total Reward Amount in respect to All India Rank in JEE (M & A) and NEET will be paid in four equal installments during their graduation.
  10. Only those students will be rewarded who have minimum 90% attendance during their Classroom Session in KELVIN Institute.
  11. It is compulsory for a student to attach a recent passport size photograph on the application form. KELVIN Institute reserves the right to use the photograph and name of the student for publicity in all kinds of media. The student may also be required to participate in various Electronic, Print Media. In case the student secures position/rank or succeeds in any Foundations/ Medical/ Engineering Entrance Exam in India or any test at International level then KELVIN Institute can ask to record video-audio testimonial of the students and parents as required and represent KELVIN in Media, Talk Show etc. The student should also staple three extra Photographs with the form. The parents of such students shall not make any objection or demure publicity and/or for any media campaign.

Scholarship Note

  1. All the scholarship concessions will be confirmed only after receiving the attested mark-sheet from the student; and if the marks do not justify the concession or there is any irregularity of any kind, the payment adjusted against such scholarship/ benefit will have to be paid before the enrolment is finalized.
  2. In case GST or any kind of any indirect or direct tax is levied by the Govt. or as per any law, on any type of scholarship/ concession/ discount given to the students at the time of admission or during the progress of the course, then, the same will be borne by the student/ parents.
    • For Ex.: If a student is given 100% scholarship in KTSE/ KST then he/ she may not be charged any amount (such as Tuition fee) during admission, as per management discretion. But in case GST or any other tax is levied thereupon by the Govt. or as per law at any point of time, then, the same will be borne from the students/ parents.
    • In case of KST, if the student got 100% scholarship then he/ she has to pay only Admission & Examination fee.
    • In case of KTSE, if the student got 100% scholarship then he/ she does not have to pay any fee.

Terms & Conditions

  1. Only the siblings/ child of Employee would be entitled to avail benefit of this Scholarship.
  2. The designation of Employee, for the purpose of scholarship percentage, would be considered as on the date of Admission. If the employee is promoted to Senior designation later, he/ she would still be entitled to the same benefit as before for the whole tenure of student’s course.
  3. KELVIN Employee Scholarship can be clubbed with other scholarships available at the moment by fulfilling the prerequisites.
  4. The total amount of scholarship discount under any head would be provided only on Tuition Fee.
  5. The total Scholarship for any course cannot exceed the gross figure of 100% in any case.
