The Terms & Conditions mentioned herein under are deemed to have been read, understood and agreed upon once the course booking has been processed. The terms and conditions are binding once the booking form has been signed and submitted.


Admission & Application

  1. The Applicant must carefully read the prospectus, scholarship program and fee schedule before applying for admission.
  2. The Applicant shall provide his/her exact and accurate information in the Admission Form. KELVIN Institute reserves its right to reject the incomplete form and candidature of any Student who provided the wrong/incorrect information in the Admission Form.
  3. The Applicant must submit the following along with the Admission Form:
    1. Photocopies of self-attested Mark Sheet of class VIII/ IX/ X /XI/ XII.
    2. 3 passport size recent color photographs.
    3. Valid ID proof/School ID.
    4. Parent/Guardian ID.
    5. Address Proof (Aadhar Card/Voter ID card of the parent will constitute as a valid proof for the purpose of Address of Candidate)
  4. The Applicant shall provide his/her or parent mobile number for regular communication/information. The Applicant shall ensure that the Mobile Number provided to the KELVIN Institute shall be in regular and good working conditions (any smartphone recommended) as all the information like extra classes, test marks, schedule of class and other general Information will be provided by the KELVIN Institute to the Student on the Mobile Number through SMS/email/WhatsApp etc.
  5. The KELVIN Institute is not responsible for any communication gap due to DND Services and other ancillary norms of Mobile Service Provider, so please ensure proper Mobile Services through your Mobile Service Provider.
  6. In case of any change of Mobile Number, please immediately inform the KELVIN Institute in writing and get the Mobile Number updated with the KELVIN Institute otherwise KELVIN Institute will not be responsible for not getting any information on time.
  7. Please forthwith intimate the KELVIN Institute in writing if applicant/student changes his/her residential address & e-mail ID. In case the Applicant/Student fails to update the said information, KELVIN Institute will not be held responsible for any loss or damage on account of lack of information or otherwise.
  8. The KELVIN Institute issued an Identity/ Roll number to each student. The entry in the classes will be only permitted with the Identity Card.
  9. Student(s) must ensure that he/she attends all the classes and/or test(s) as per the schedule informed or given by the KELVIN Institute from time to time. KELVIN Institute will not be held responsible for any loss in study if the student fails to attend the classes or test(s) in the appropriate manner as scheduled.
  10. There are no classes on public holidays unless in particular circumstances, the KELVIN Institute deems it fit that classes are to be held as usual. Students will receive a reminder via email/SMS where a class is scheduled on a public holiday.
  11. If any student found absent for more than 15 days continuously, without any prior written application & approval, he/she will not be allowed to attend the classes and will not be given any test paper(s), He / She may be deemed to be expelled from the KELVIN Institute. No separate intimation will be given to the parents in this regard and no fee or part of the fee paid shall be refunded in such cases in any circumstances. The decision of the Management in this regard shall be final and binding on the students & parents.
  12. If a student is absent in test(s), he/she can find that particular question paper on the student app (KITES).
  13. Students are expected to conduct themselves in a professional manner and to recognize that other students may require support and assistance. If a student becomes persistently disruptive, the Institute reserves the right to give a verbal and/or written warning. If a student is dismissed for misconduct, no refund will be given. Students are encouraged to attend classes on time.
  14. In case a student misbehaves/gets involved in negative activities like teasing, theft, indiscipline, bullying, raging using of abusive language, and taking or promoting any kind of intoxication, he/ she can be rusticated forthwith by KELVIN Institute and no fee shall be refunded in such cases.
  15. In case if any parent/guardian misbehaves with any staff member/management of the KELVIN Institute, his/her ward can be rusticated from the KELVIN Institute and no claim of refund of such student will be entertained. The decision of the Center-Head will be final and binding on the student and parent/guardian.

Fees and Refund

  1. There will be a one-time Rs.1000 Admission fee on joining that will not be refundable.
  2. There will be 15 days of Demo Classes. If a student does not feel satisfied in the demo classes period, full amount will be refunded (except admission fee Rs 1000).
  3. If a student feels satisfied after demo classes, he/she shall choose his monthly subscription or annual plan according to his/her program.
  4. Demo Classes will be calculated based on no. of days from the first class attended by a student. It will not depend on the number of classes attended by students.
  5. If any new student joins classes before the 15th day of any month then he/she needs to pay the complete fee of that month. If a student joins after the 15th day, then the student needs to pay a half month fee.
  6. In monthly subscription, the date of fee submission will be the 7th day of each month.
  7. In case, any student drop classes, no fee will be refunded.
  8. If any student skips any month in between and wants to join again, there will be a re-admission fee of Rs. 500. Otherwise previous missed lectures will not be provided.
  9. A fee schedule for all programs is separately provided to the student(s) along with the prospectus. The students are advised to opt the fee schedule carefully. KELVIN Institute is providing two modes of payment of fee, first is ‘one time fee payment in lump sum’ and second ‘payment of monthly fee in installment’. The said fee schedule is final and binding and no change shall be made in fee schedule under any circumstances.
  10. In case of Lump sum Payment:
    1. For one year program, the lump-sum amount will be collected in two parts. The first 50% of the payable amount needs to be paid just after 15 days of demo classes and second 50% of the payable amount needs to be paid after three months of joining the student.
    2. For two year program, the lump-sum amount will be collected in four parts. The first part (25%) of payable amount needs to be paid just after 15 days of demo classes, the second part (25%) needs to be paid after three months of joining the student, third part (25%) needs to be paid within the first week of second session, and Fourth part (25%) needs to be paid after the two months of the second session.
    3. Students opting for Lump sum payment need to submit all the PDCs at the time of admission.
  11. Refund Policy in Lump Sum Payment Mode - In case of refund, the total time period (whether active or inactive) of the student in KELVIN will be calculated from his date of joining till the date on which the student applied for refund by formal channel. Henceforth the calculated amount (based on student’s monthly fee) will be deducted from the total lump sum amount paid by the student and rest amount will be given back to the parent/student. No discount offered during lump sum fee payment will be considered while calculating monthly fee for refund amount.
  12. The student must submit & pay his/her respective fee strictly in accordance with the fee schedule opted by him/her at the time of admission. The fee will be accepted by Cash/Valid Cheque/Bank Draft in favour of “KELVIN INSTITUTE-Fee A/c” and also can pay through online portals like Paytm, UPI etc. Fee Due date means final fee submission date given by the KELVIN Institute. If a student is giving the cheque on Due Date then it will be constituted as late fee and late fee will be charged by KELVIN Institute from such student(s).
  13. The KELVIN Institute has no policy to provide any additional benefit on payment of lump sum fee either at the time of Admission or submission of examination fee.
  14. In case cheque of any installment/Fee is dishonoured, student must deposit his/her due fee within 10 days from the date of intimation by the KELVIN Institute to the said effect along with late fee of Rs. 50/- per day and cheque dishonoured charges of Rs. 500/- by way of Cash or Demand Draft. If despite intimation student fails to deposit his/her due fee within said 10 days, KELVIN Institute has a right to cancel his/her admission forthwith without giving any further notice and/or to withdraw the permission to attend any class/test or to take any benefit from the KELVIN Institute. In such circumstances, the student is also not entitled to claim any fee refund from the KELVIN Institute.
  15. Once admission of student gets cancelled due to non-payment of fee, any request for re-admission will be considered subject to with previous due payment with penalty along with re-admission charges of Rs.500/-
  16. All the payments of fee are subject to applicable taxes. If at any point in time, the Central Government/ State Government further increases Goods & Service Tax (GST), (existing rate of Goods & Service Tax is 18%) or impose any new Tax(s), increased rate of taxes/ applicable new tax amount will be borne by the student from the date of enforcement of the direction/notification or order by the Govt. If the applicable taxes will not be paid by the student despite appropriate demand then the KELVIN Institute has the right not only to cancel the admission of such student(s) but also to recover the said tax(s) from student or from parent of such student.
  17. If at any point of time Govt. decides to charge Goods & Service Tax (GST) on scholarship/ concession amount/ fee waiver/ prize money, reward etc. then the Goods & Service Tax (GST) shall be borne by the student in the same manner as mentioned above.
  18. The KELVIN Institute reserves the right to increase the fees at any time but fee increases will not apply in cases where the fees have already been paid.

Special Conditions

  1. The student must check himself whether he/she is eligible for a particular examination or not. The KELVIN Institute does not hold itself responsible if a student’s admission form cannot be forwarded or is rejected by the examining body on any ground whatsoever, such a student cannot claim a refund of the whole or any part of the fee he/she had paid to the KELVIN Institute.
  2. Students enrolled with KELVIN Institute have to provide photocopy of Admit Card or other relevant detail of various Foundations Level Olympiads, NTSE, KVPY, Engineering, Medical Entrance Exams, as soon as they receive their cards from the examining body before/during Test Series to be conducted in end of the session of enrolled program, failing which the student shall not be allowed to attend free Test Series & will not be given Test Papers.
  3. The responsibility of applying for the entrance examination is that of the student himself/ herself or that of the Parent/ Guardian.
  4. The KELVIN Institute has all the rights to make any alteration/change/amend/modify any of its academic program (s)/ venue/place of class(es) and/or teaching schedule, timing, days without any prior notice to the student. It is sole discretion and prerogative of the KELVIN Management to make such changes at any point of time and students are not allowed to protest or object to the decision of KELVIN Management in this regard. The decision of the Center-Head shall be final and binding on the student and the parents.
  5. In case, any dispute or difference arises between student/parents and the KELVIN Institute regarding the interpretation of these terms and conditions, non-payment of any claim or any dispute arising out of or in pursuant to these terms and conditions, the same shall be decided by the way of discussion with the KELVIN Institute management and the decision taken by KELVIN Institute management shall be final and binding.
  6. Any dispute(s) and differences shall be governed by and construed under the laws of India and the Courts of New Delhi shall have exclusive jurisdiction to adjudicate any dispute and differences arising out of or in connection with this Agreement.
  7. The KELVIN Institute is not responsible of any loss of study or otherwise due to any natural calamity such as earthquake, floods, fire, electric short circuit etc. and/or discontinuations of classes/test(s), permanently or temporarily under any Government/Court/Authority(s) order(s), directions and notifications.
  8. The KELVIN Institute shall not provide guarantee for success in any entrance examination through its academic courses. The student (s) shall not blame or claim any damage or compensation from the KELVIN Institute in case of his/her not succeeding in any entrance examination.
